I couldn't help but notice that in all the end of 2008 nostalgic montages about who we lost this year on the news & in magazines they kind of skimmed through Carlin's impact & his life. They concentrated more on Paul Newman & Heath Ledger; I don't know about u guys but I think George had if not more or at least as much of an impact as those guys. Carlin totally changed the way people did comedy; & his longevity; he was doing it for 40 years; he wasn't just a comedian he was the definition of it.

I have faith that the Bible was divinely inspired, so in that respect God wrote it. Well I don't know, there's a number of factors. Some Jews did choose to accept him, they became Christians. Others are still Jews, but follow Christ as the Messiah and are called Messianic Jews. Others didn't believe. Possibly because he died on the cross, which they thought (and Muslims still think) would not have happened to the Messiah or a great prophet. Others thought that he wasn't the Messiah because they thought the Messiah would deliver them from the Romans, not their sins.
