Chris Rock is arguably among the most brilliant comedians alive today but he is a BUST as a talk show host or guest.

honestly, i still don't agree. you can't tell me it's normal to sell guns to anybody! no wonder you have so many crazy lunatics killing people! let me explain. in my country in europe...you can have a gun at home, no problem...but you have to pass some psychology tests, you have to prove you're a reasonable being...because otherwise any schmuck would get a gun and kill people for no reason. and that's what happens in america! too many crazy people have guns!
By: Astroalpha2. on 04 Jan 09, 22:01:01
The guns are for home defense in case the police don't arrive on time when some one breaks into your house. This allows you to safely dispose of any possible threats to your life. You can be sure as hell that the criminals will have guns no matter what because they're criminals, they don't mind getting guns illegally. To not sell guns is to deprive honest citizens of their self-defense and their peace of mind. Though I'll agree with you that the war is a crock, all governments need to step back.

Damn, he wasn't even as visceral as this on "You Are All Diseased!" The crowd sure wasn't expecting that and to think he had a POINT to something going on at that time. And oh how relevant it is today. Oh yeah, FUCK GOLF!!
By: jp0005jp. on 07 Nov 08, 12:12:07
HELL YEA, George Carlin Rules, FUCK GOLFERS!!!!!!!

Brilliant comedian. Spot on performance and funny as hell!
By: filip000. on 03 Oct 08, 18:00:41
you must admit he does have a point here. i'm white, living in europe and everyone here sees america's problem, seems to me only americans are blinded by some entertaining sh*t and are unable to see where the problems really lie. wars? terrorism? give me a fuc*ing break...guns in Kmart? what the hell is that for?
By: prox1mately. on 14 Sep 08, 13:41:43
Yeah. Well most of his comedy is based on an issue he wants to be dealt with. He often mention that the americans are war lovers... think he wants that problem solved? I do.
By: OrmEmber. on 03 Sep 08, 06:30:29
I've never seen George Carlin appear as angry as he does in this bit. I saw the same material later on another show, and it was more laid back and sardonic. Here, he almost comes off as a radical priest from the 60's!

I really dont think george was in this skit for the comedy, i think he really wanted people to understand that this is a real problem that needs to be fixed. george was being serious.
